The New Admit Overnight Host Program is a unique event specifically for women admitted to UC Berkeley’s College of Engineering and Chemical Engineering majors from the College of Chemistry. The program provides female admits an opportunity to visit the Cal campus, interact with current engineering students, interact with research laboratories and alumni, attend a banquet with UC Berkeley faculty and professors, and sleep overnight in student housing in order to experience life as a Berkeley Engineer.
This year’s program takes place April 12-13th, 2019. Participants are also highly encouraged to attend Cal Day on April 13th to see student organizations on campus. All newly-admitted women to UC Berkeley’s engineering programs will receive an invitation to the New Admit Overnight Host Program. This program is provided free of cost to all invited students. Invitations will be sent by snail mail on April 1st, 2019.
